(P.S. And on the whole did they/didn't they question for the Doctor and Rose, I just want to say that I have often wondered what the world would be like if the Doctor's "...you're not-" in Doomsday had actually been "AWESOME, BABY, UP TOP FOR THE OLD MAN.")

Life is very short, so-

-read a book, visit a museum, cook dinner for a friend, ogle a cute guy or three, play a game, pet a fluffy animal, see a movie, help someone else, take a hike, have a good cry or a great laugh. (P.S., and for those of you at [info]badwolfsermon, celebrate drosegiving !)

So what are y'all up to ?

Cartoony Rose again, this time with 73% more innuendo. I dedicate it, in thanks, to all the folks who've written delightfully gratuitous Ten/Rose tie-porn over the years. I salute you.

So. Drama chatter. Mostly shallow thoughts on Jin Zi Cong, who I swear was invented purely to torment me (in an awesome, hot way.) Catching up on dramas is pretty much when I do when I have a personal day, whee. )<3)

Meme, stolen from everyone. (Seriously.)

1. List your top seven character ships
2. Put all of them in order of your love for them; 7 to 1, 1 being your main fixation.
3. Name the movie/show that they're in.
4. Supply photos for said people.
5. Tag seven people.

Home is where the doors are. CRACK ALERT. This is a silly, slightly naughty post-Journey's End ficlet that is actually based on a Hamlet pic. You'll see why/how under the cut. This is very much for [info]principia_coh and [info]larissa_j. Because they are crazy in an awesome way and share my feelings on David Tennant: he makes being wrapped in newspapers and smelling like Wild Turkey seem sexy.

Spoilers for the season four finale, obviously.

"That's it." Rose stalks towards him and rips the ridiculously sweaty knit hat off of his head while he protests. "I'm going to take you home and get the gardener to turn the hose on you. Eight days of pet shampoo. A de-lousing." She sniffs the air. "Have you been sleeping by the docks ?"

Mood: giggly

So those insane animations of the Doctor and the Master getting disco-jiggy that I did a few days ago ? Now they have a short ficlet to go with them. Inspiration from my dear dear [info]the_spin. The Doctor, Rose and the Master. Fred Astaire, sort of. Shenanigans.

"Something like that," the Doctor coughed. "Now, we've got ten minutes to think of a routine, and then we're going straight to hair and makeup. We'll have to hustle. Or- don't literally hustle. I think they're a Strauss crowd. Maybe a bit of foxtrot. Do I know the foxtrot ?" He turned to Rose. "Could I manage a foxtrot, do you think ?"

(Link takes you to the original post. Yes, I made this needlessly complicated.)

Maturity. This is more post-Journey's End fic. With spoilers. And a slight twist. A sort-of sequel to Peace in our time. It's PG-13, Doctor/Rose (and yes, again, canon-compliant, and I'm sure you know what that means.) Very very cracky and ridiculous.

I promised you, [info]araceli_maura. And here it is. Spoilery author's note under here. )

If he angles it wrong, it'll hit the window. Or the jukebox. Well, there's a bit of chaos inherent in any endeavor. He pretends not to be calculating the velocity.

Peace in our time. Yes, it is: it's post-Journey's End fic. I figured I should get this posted before everyone, even my own mom, gets theirs done as well. Hee. Anyway, it's PG-13 for occasional nudity; Doctor/Rose, and yes, it's canon-compliant (and if you know what that means, then you know what that means.)

She couldn't ever have imagined a universe where he would ask such a thing, and now she's living in it.
